It is no accident that there are more than 2350 verses in the Bible on how to handle money and possessions. And Jesus indeed said more about money than almost any other subject. My hope and prayer is that we will come to better understand that how we handle money influences our fellowship with God and how our possessions compete with God for first place in our lives. As we come to better understand these things, I pray that we will be challenged as God’s stewards to spend money in ways that honor God, save money in ways that honor God, and give away money in ways that honor God and live to make eternal investments in the Kingdom of God.
